We bid a festive farewell to the anniversary year 2025 with AUTh’s traditional Christmas concert. The three university choirs – the “Yannis Mantakas” Choir, the SMS Choral Workshop, and the SMS First‑Year Choir “Trisevgeni Kalokyri” – opened the evening by performing beloved Greek carols and Christmas songs under the direction of Erifili Damianou. A rich musical program followed, curtesy of various ensembles of the university. At the end of the evening, the choirs joined their voices with the AUTh Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Vladimiros Symeonidis, to present the world premiere of Theodoros Papadimitriou’s arrangement of carols from Ikaria and Crete. The concert concluded with traditional carols and warm wishes for happy holidays and a joyful 2026.
